Lakewood Industrial Commission Reorganizes for 2014
New leadership settles into place at the Lakewood Industrial Commission (LIC) with a familiar face at the top of the organizational chart.

Robert Kirschner of Robert Kirschner Real Estate returns as Chairman. His Vice-Chairman is Justin Flancbaum, who also serves as Executive Director of the Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority. Gregory Staffordsmith, owner of AG&G Sprinkler System Services, is secretary for 2014.
Elected to five-year terms on the Board of Directors are Neil Brooks, owner of Neil Brooks Plumbing, Heating and Cooling; Shlomo Katz, of the Olympic Properties development firm; real estate magnate Sam Rabinowitz; and Edwin Schuster, owner of E.J. Schuster's Office Supplies and Furniture.
Steven Reinman serves as the LIC's Executive Director. The secretary designee is Anita Doyle, who doubles as Deputy Coordinator for thet Lakewood Development Corporation (LDC) and Executive Assistant for Lakewood Township and Lakewood Airport.
Township Committeeman Steven Langert acts as the governing body's LIC liaison. Assemblyman Sean Kean was appointed the commission's attorney. The engineer is Jeffrey W. Staiger of the Remington & Vernick firm.
LIC operates under state statues, tasked with building economic development and job opportunities, and maintaining economic stability among Lakewood businesses.
