As the curve keeps on flattening and less and less people are being reported infected or hospitalized our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will post a weekly report of the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County's instead of a daily report.

In Ocean County there have been 9,887 positive cases as of Friday morning July 17 with Lakewood having the most followed by Toms River and Brick, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department.

Ocean County has reported 136 cases since last Friday evening which is 11 more cases reported than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County this week:

  • Friday July 10: 9 new cases reported bringing total to 9,760.
  • Saturday July 11: 25 new cases reported bringing total to 9,785.
  • Sunday July 12: 13 new cases reported bringing total to 9,798.
  • Monday July 13: 29 new cases reported bringing total to 9,827.
  • Tuesday July 14: 27 new cases reported bringing total to 9,854.
  • Wednesday July 15: 24 new cases reported bringing total to 9,878.
  • Thursday July 16: 9 new cases reported bringing total to 9,887.
  • Cases this week: 136.

In Monmouth County there have been 9,853 positive cases as of Friday morning July 17 with Middletown having the most cases for a single town followed by Freehold Township and Howell, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholders Tom Arnone and Sue Kiley.

Monmouth County has reported 309 cases since last Friday which is 131 more than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County this week:

        • Friday July 10:  50 new cases reported bringing total to 9,594.
        • Saturday July 11: 26 new cases reported bringing total to 9,620.
        • Sunday July 12:  51 new cases reported brining total to 9,671.
        • Monday July 13:  22 new cases reported bringing total to 9,693.
        • Tuesday July 14:  42 new cases reported bringing total to 9,735.
        • Wednesday July 15: 101 new cases reported bringing total to 9,836.
        • Thursday July 16: 17 new cases reported bringing total to 9,853.
        • Cases this week: 309 cases.
