As the curve keeps on flattening and less and less people are being reported infected or hospitalized our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will post a weekly report of the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County's instead of a daily report.

In Ocean County there have been 9,751 positive cases as of Friday morning July 10 with Lakewood having the most followed by Toms River and Brick, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department.

Ocean County has reported 125 cases since last Friday evening which is 26 less cases reported than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County this week:

  • Friday July 3:  26 new cases reported bringing total to 9,652.
  • Saturday July 4: 18 new cases reported bringing total to 9,670.
  • Sunday July 5: 10 new cases reported bringing total to 9,680.
  • Monday July 6: 17 new cases reported bringing total to 9,697.
  • Tuesday July 7: 19 new cases reported bringing total to 9,716.
  • Wednesday July 8: 17 new cases reported bringing total to 9,733.
  • Friday July 9: 18 new cases reported bringing total to 9,751.
  • Cases this week: 125.

In Monmouth County there have been 9,544 positive cases as of Friday morning July 10 with Middletown having the most cases for a single town followed by Freehold Township and Howell, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholders Tom Arnone and Sue Kiley.

Monmouth County has reported 178 cases since last Friday which is 25 less than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County this week:

      • Friday July 3:  22 new cases reported bringing total to 9,388.
      • Saturday July 4: 33 new cases reported bringing total to 9,421
      • Sunday July 5:  36 new cases reported brining total to 9,457.
      • Monday July 6:  35 new cases reported bringing total to 9,492.
      • Tuesday July 7:  21 new cases reported bringing total to 9,513.
      • Wednesday July 8: 6 new cases reported bringing total to 9,519.
      • Thursday July 9: 25 new cases reported bringing total to 9,544.
      • Cases this week: 178 cases.
