Dow Down 200 As Weak Earnings Drag Market Lower

The Dow Jones industrial average is down more than 200 points as poor earnings reports from big corporate names weigh on the stock market.
Microsoft, General Electric and McDonald's are among the companies reporting disappointing results. The Dow is down 210 points at 13,338 and on course for its worst day since June.

The Standard & Poor's 500 index is down 25 points, an even bigger drop than the Dow in percentage terms.
