If there's one thing we know here in Ocean County and New Jersey, it's malls. Throughout my life in The Garden State I've lived in about half a dozen different towns and I have never been more than half an hour from a mall. And the most amazing part, they're almost all busy.

Sure, any mall has their ebbs and flows. And of course during these rough economic times, you might not necessarily see big crowds at the malls. But I can still stop by The Ocean County Mall on a Tuesday evening and see plenty of people hanging around.

Which brings me to this bizarre story. Check out this massive mall in Shanghai, one of the largest cities in the world, that seems to be a complete ghost town.

Kinda looks what I imagine the (in)famous "Xanadu" project at the Meadowlands must look like on the inside.
