Body Found in Lakewood Home

A foul smell coming from a Lakewood home on Squankum Road prompted a call to police, who discovered a badly decomposed body Thursday night.

The Lakewood Scoop reported police received the call shortly before 9 p.m.

Lakewood’s Detectives Bureau, CSI Unit and the Medical Examiners office were summoned to the scene.

The home was for sale, according to the Asbury Park Press.
