Joshua Everett was arrested Thursday night after Lacey police stopped a car leaving the Garden State Parkway for Lacey Road, charged, and placed in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

Charged with a two-month burglary binge in Bayville last week, Everett refused to surrender and disappeared, police said at the time. They circulated his information through several social media platforms.

According to police, Officer Anthony Sarno found Everett crouched in the back seat, clad in a black wig, skull cap and glasses.

A search yielded 32 empty wax folds, a syringe, four Trazodone pills and other drug items, police said.

Lacey police charged Everett with possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, with bail set at $7,500.

The Berkeley Township burglary-and-theft warrant was also executed, with bail set at $25,000. Police said that Everett also had traffic warrants issued in Deptford Township and Westville, with a combined bail of $389.
