A Perfect Solution To My Dog Dilemma

Back in the fall I told you about my doggie dilemma - I'd had a bad experience at a large pet chain the last time I took Sydney to get groomed, which made me reluctant to go back to the chain for another haircut. This weekend, I got the perfect solution.

My vet suggested that we give a mobile groomer a try, and he gave me the contact info for his preferred mobile groomer.

It was a great call. The mobile groomer solved a number of problems - Sydney isn't as good in the car as she used to be, so we didn't have to deal with the stress of going somewhere. And she got individual attention; she wasn't left in a cage while other dogs were attended to, she didn't have all sorts of other dogs barking and carrying on, and the groomer was able to focus on her fully.

As you can see above, it came out great. And, emotionally, she didn't seem any worse for wear. In fact, in the days since, she seems to have a bit of extra energy and enthusiasm.
