A motorcyclist died in a horrendous Monday crash on Route 440 in Woodbridge, about the same time that Coast Guard divers called off their long search for a 17-year-old in the ocean off Long Branch.

Three swimmers in trouble in the ocean at Seaside Heights Sunday were rescued by borough police. In Lakewood, the search continues for El Cholito, suspected of knifing an 18-year-old to death in the township Saturday, one day after a car dealership in Hazlet burned to the ground.

In Manchester, 50-year-old Stephanie Guadlip of Jackson faces a  DUI count after slamming into a utility pole on Route 571 Monday. The other driver, 18-year-old Samantha Hudacko of Toms River, was ticketed for improper passing.

And someone chose Memorial Day weekend to steal the American and POW flags from Manchester's Grand Army Memorial
