Intoxicated Motorist Takes Down Utility Poll in Manchester

A Jackson woman faces serious charges following a collision that took down a utility poll down on County Route 571 in the area of Cabin Brook Crescent in Manchester Monday morning.

Police say 50-year-old Stephanie Guadlip struck the poll when trying to avoid and oncoming vehicle.

Further investigation shows that Guadlip was allegedly under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle, 18-year-old samantha Hudacko of Toms River was charged with improper passing.

The investigation is on-going.
