Earlier this Summer I told you about the death defying (or possibly death awaiting) homemade backyard loop-de-loop water slide. And now we have this...

A homemade backyard kiddie roller coaster. It's made out of PVC pipe, lumber, and "lots of concrete". It even has a 12 foot drop.

Here's my theory on roller coasters - I don't like them in general. I'll ride a wooden coaster, but I'm not a fan of the big, modern, steel coasters with loops, corkscrews, and huge drops. I'm not ashamed to admit it, I just don't like 'em. And when it comes to temporary coasters, like at county fairs, etc, the way I see it is, if you can take them apart and move them, I'm not getting on them!

So what about this DIY coaster? Would you let your kid ride this? Check out the video and let us know what you think in the comments section!
