Would You Celebrate “Bruce Springsteen Day?”

There is a proposal to make Bruce Springsteen's Birthday, September 23rd, a holiday in New Jersey.

According to Patch, the bill is being proposed by Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle. The idea came to her after she saw "Springsteen on Broadway." The bill says that New Jerseyans would celebrate the day with "appropriate activities and programs." That could be fun! Would there be a Bruce Springsteen singalong? Maybe a trip to Asbury Park! If it gives us a day off from work, I'm all in favor of it!
