A Fan Favorite Returns To Fright Fest At 6 Flags Great Adventure
One of the biggest parties at 6 Flags Great Adventure is the annual fall favorite Fright Fest. The theme park's annual Halloween festival is in Jackson Township, New Jersey, and visitors look forward to it every year.

This year, fans of Fright Fest will see the return of a show many loved, and this year, it's back. Six Flags Great Adventure is bringing back one of its most recognized Fright Fest traditions as Dead Man’s Party returns for the 2026 Halloween season.
The park's long-running live stage show, hosted by Dr. Fright, has been a guest favorite since debuting in 1999. Known for its heart-pounding music, iconic choreography and explosive special effects, the production features Dr. Fright and his undead friends rocking the afterlife in a rock concert-meets-Broadway-style spectacle during Fright Fest nights.
I always look forward to Frigh Fest. It's a great time of year in the park. The weather is great, the park is all decorated for Halloween, and the ghosts and goblins are out and about in the park, making it a fun time for all.
The return of Dead Man's Party in 2026 brings back a familiar Fright Fest tradition for longtime fans while introducing the experience to a new generation of guests.
For 25 years, Dead Man’s Party has been one of the big fall traditions at the park, mixing live music, dancing, and that spooky Fright Fest vibe. It’s always been more fun than scary, which is why families loved it year after year. The show also became a huge opportunity for dancers from all over the country, with many performers going on to successful entertainment careers.
