Who’s ready to sing “Africa” by Toto in front of the White House?

The rains down in Africa are going to be headed to Pennsylvania Avenue...

This is by far the funniest thing I have seen while scrolling through my Facebook feed today. It showed that one of my coworkers, Diana, was interested in an event that has already curated 8,000 people to sing the world-famous song "Africa" by the legendary 80's band Toto.

Now, here on a Jersey Shore Flashback Weekend on 92.7 WOBM, we play some songs by Toto, including Africa so if you need some practice for the October 6th date - be sure to jam out practice.

There is absolutely nothing political about this, just a "sing along to the greatest song ever composed" according to the event description.

I'm going, to be honest, I marked myself as "going" and I think I might consider it - that's if some friends are down. Who would turn down something like this? Yeah, nobody.
