There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can spread directly to humans from water in pools, hot tubs or spas, or water play areas. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (for example, with chlorine or bromine) of pools, hot tubs or spas, and water playgrounds should kill the virus that causes COVID-19.“ ~ CDC COVID 19)

Residents are waiting to hear when outdoor pools, both private and municipal can re-open to the public.

According to reports in the Patch, Governor Murphy is likely to announce Monday at his 1 pm news conference, when pools can re-open in NJ.

Have you re-opened your pool at home or decided to wait?

Does the idea of a pool full of swimmers bother you? I do not know if the COVID virus can live long in chlorinated water, but in reading some information from the CDC  it appears keeping a clean pool is key to keeping healthy.....which you should ALWAYS do as a pool owner.
