Halloween 2019 will be here before you know it, which means that once again Ocean County will be home to one of the largest Halloween parades in the country!

The 81st Annual Toms River Halloween Parade will be Thursday, October 31st 2019 in downtown Toms River.

As always, the parade is being put on by the Toms River Volunteer Fire Company #1.

No pre-registration is required ahead of time. Groups should stop by the firehouse on Robbins Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the 31st to register in person.

The parade kicks off at the Toms River Shopping Centre at the corner of Main Street and Highland Parkway at 7:00 p.m.

The route heads down Main Street and hangs a left onto Washington Street, both of which will close to traffic at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the parade.

While the grand tradition of people placing their chairs along the parade route ahead of time is sure to continue, officials are asking the public to place their chairs out on parade day only, not before the 31st.
