According to the Patch, schools will see teachers and administrators along with custodial crews who will be cleaning and sanitizing. What we won't see in the Toms River Regional Schools are students. Toms River will start the 2020-2021 school year with remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic.

The plan is for the Toms River School District to return to some in-person teaching in November, after the break for the 2020 election and the teacher convention the first week of November, giving the custodial staff at Toms River schools a full week for a deep cleaning. However Superintendent David Healy has said that date could be moved up sooner if conditions allow.

The requirement for teachers to come into their classrooms to teach their remote lessons was announced last week in a letter from Superintendent David Healy.

If you are a teacher how do you feel about this system that's being implemented for the new school year in Toms River?

If you are a parent, how are you feeling about totally remote learning to start the 2020-2021 school year in the Toms River Regional School District?
