As we are very quickly approaching the middle of December, we're actually looking at temperatures going up in the next couple of days, not down.

As I was thinking about this topic, I went back to last year to see when we were dealing with snow. Oddly enough, it was actually on this exact day in 2014 that we got the first dusting of snow for the season.

Sure, I loved it when I was a kid and I got the day off of school. But my feelings have changed as an adult who has to commute to work every day. And that's including "snow days". Along with other "necessary personnel", radio people don't get the day off when it snows.

So while we're playing songs like "White Christmas", "Winter Wonderland", and "Let It Snow", I'm more than happy to enjoy temperatures in the 50s and maybe even sneaking into the low 60s by the weekend.

What about you? When the holiday season rolls around, do you prefer snow to get you in the spirit of the season, or will you enjoy the mild weather as long as possible?
