WATCH: 18-Wheeler Takes Out Traffic Light in Lakewood and Drives Away

With the horrible driving conditions and impending snowy weather, the last thing we need to worry about is a downed traffic light in a busy area in Lakewood. Unfortunately, that has become a reality after an 18-wheeler took out a traffic signal.
It all happened this afternoon on 4th Street and Madison Avenue when a large truck was trying to make a turn. The truck, with "SWIFT" on its trailer, completely took out the light and looked to keep driving as if the driver didn't know the pole came down.
It should be noted that the dashcam footage stops as the truck is making the turn, so the driver could have noticed and stopped after the footage stopped rolling.
