Voting Is Now Open On The 2020 Summer Sunset Photo Contest

92.7 WOBM's annual Summer Sunset Photo Contest is one of my favorite parts of the job every summer and one of my least favorite all at the same time.

It's one of my favorite because I get to see your amazing photography and the true beauty of living in Ocean County.

It's one of my least favorite because if we put every single photo up for voting, it would turn into a month long tournament.

I hate having to whittle the voting field down to the best of the best, but alas, that's what must be done.

So, that being said, with some input from our very unscientific panel of people who love to look at great amateur photography as much as I do, we narrowed the field down to 14 finalists.

For the record, by the way, I was going to go with 10 but there were just too many great photos this time around!

There are a few things that I learned from this year's Summer Sunset Photo Contest entries, but especially that people love the sunsets of Seaside Park and Island Heights, and for good reason!
