92.7 WOBM's Summer Sunset Photo Contest is always one of my very favorite annual campaigns.

Since 2017, at the end of each summer, I've been asking for you to send in your best Jersey Shore sunset photos, and you never disappoint.

The only drawback is the fact that it gets harder every year to narrow the field down to a manageable number of finalists.

But, that's what I signed up for, and last week we unveiled this year's 14 finalists (I genuinely couldn't narrow it down to just 10).

After hundreds of votes (literally just a few shy of the thousand mark!), a clear winner emerged.

I'm proud to announce the indisputable winner of the 92.7 WOBM's 2020 Summer Sunset Photo Contest:

Denise Maynard - Lake Horicon

There was no question when it came to the voting results, Denise's stunning photo of Lake Horicon in Lakehurst pulled way ahead of the competition and stayed there all week.

In fact, of the 14 finalists, Denise's photo racked up more than half of all of the votes that were cast, finishing with a total of 51.23% of the vote.

As always, I have to give my heartfelt thanks to each and every person who took the time to share their photos as well as everybody who took a few minutes to vote.

I wish I could have included every single one of the dozens of photos that came my way these last few weeks.
