New Vaccination Bribes: Wine, Park Passes And A Mansion Dinner

There have been lots of incentives flying around to help sway people to get vaccinated and this is the latest! Now we're talking my language...FREE vino but that's not all! Not only can you get a free glass of wine from a local Jersey winery, but you can also get a free pass to all 51 state parks including the beautiful Island Beach State Park! On top of that, you can also be registered to win a dinner with the governor and first lady at Drumthwacket, the governor’s mansion, or at the governor’s beach house at IBSP!

Beginning today, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will offer a free State Parks “Vax Pass” under the new “Vax and Visit” campaign to all Jersey residents who receive at least one dose of their COVID-19 vaccination by the 4th of July.

You'll be able to request the State Parks Vax Pass upon entry at any one of the state’s 51 parks by just showing your vax card. What if your already vaccinated and bought your state park passes? Well, The Department of Environmental Protection will provide refunds to residents who already purchased their Annual State Park Passes this year.

The “Uncork the Vaccination” program started as well... The State Wine Growers Association are offering Jersey residents (that are over the age of 21 and who get their vaccine in the month of May), a free glass of wine from participating wineries. Wineries participating are: Amalthea Cellars, Auburn Road Vineyards, Bellview Winery, DiMatteo Vineyards, Salem Oak Vineyards, Terhune Orchards, Tomasello Winery, Villa Milagro Vineyards in Pohatcong, and White Horse Winery.

There's one more incentive! Jersey residents who are 18 or older and who have received at least one shot since December, can enter to win dinner with Governor Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy. The winner will have the choice between dinner at the Drumthwacket mansion, or the Governor’s beach home on Island Beach State Park. Entries must be submitted by May 31. To enter, visit covid19.nj.gov. The state has set a goal of 4.7 million people being fully vaccinated by June 30th. There are now more than 1,700 vaccination sites statewide to get your vax on.
