This Beach Was Named The Most Beautiful in NJ and Among Best In America

A National publication, Travel + Leisure, has named a New Jersey beach to their list of best in America.

According to Travel + Leisure, "A new ranking placed Avalon Beach among the nation’s top 10 thanks to its scenic shoreline, uncrowded feel, and postcard-worthy views."

The report added, "In July, online gaming site SpinBlitz released its Beach Beauty Index, a ranking of the 10 best beaches in the nation. The team at SpinBlitz created the list after evaluating hundreds of beaches across the U.S."

After the list was completed, New Jersey's Avalon Beach was named in the Top 10, landing at number 7 on the prestigeous list.

Avalon is one of those Jersey Shore towns people fall in love with and keep coming back to. Located in Cape May County on Seven Mile Island, it's known for its wide beaches, beautiful homes, and relaxed atmosphere. It shares the island with neighboring Stone Harbor, but Avalon has a personality all its own.
