Uncle Dood's Donuts Wins Another National Honor

In what is absolutely no surprise whatsoever to us here in Ocean County, our very own Uncle Dood's Donuts has been once again named the best in the state.

You might remember in 2015 we told you about Dood's being named as Jersey's best doughnut shop by the website Thrillist.

Well, the honors continue to roll in for the Robbins Street sweet shop as The Daily Meal set out to name their favorites for each state.

If you've gotten this far, really even if you just read the headline of this story, you already know what I'm going to say next - Uncle Dood's, the downtown Toms River favorite, received the honor for The Garden State.

The story gives Dood's props for their doughnuts that they call, "...fun, fancy, and delicious", even calling out my personal favorite, the "Bed Rockin'", with vanilla icing and Fruity Pebbles.
