Toms River Donut Shop Gets National Honors From Travel & Leisure

Travel + Leisure has come out this week with a delicious list, their "Best in U.S." donut shops list. They broke it down to the "best" according to their research for each state.

So what was the top shop here in the Garden State? Well, it's right here in Ocean County in Toms River: Uncle Dood's Donuts on Robbins Street in beautiful downtown Toms River. Doods' topped the list for New Jersey Jersey. If you haven't stopped in, go say 'hi' and try out their unique donuts.

According to Travel + Leisure, they used "Yelp" to come up with their data. Yelp analyzed donut shops in all 50 states and ranked them according to an algorithm that looks at the shop reviews and star ratings.
