2019 is ending with a bank robbery in Toms River as township police ask for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

According to the Toms River Police Department's official Facebook page, just before 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, December 31st, a man walked into the Chase Bank on Route 37 West, presented a note to a teller, and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Surveillance images from both inside and outside of the bank provided investigators with rather clear photos of the suspect:

Toms River Police ask that anyone with information about the robbery or who might be able to help identify the suspect call Detective Quinn at 732-349-0150 x 1361.
