Toms River Decks The Town For The Holidays
The snow is sticking in downtown Toms River!
Ok, I don't mean actual snow. But the tinsel snowflakes have arrived to adorn lamp posts throughout the downtown area of Toms River.
During the day, it's nice to see the snowflakes and signs, but it's at night when the town really lights up with the spirit of the season.
Especially with this message stretching across Washington Street:
Again, it doesn't sparkle quite as much during the daytime, but whether it's lit up at night or quietly hanging overhead during the day, it's a message that we need now more than ever:
Peace on Earth
It's an important reminder that while this time of year we'll see plenty of snowflakes, lit trees, bows and bells, being kind to others should be the most important message of the holiday season.
And speaking of the holiday season, don't forget that the first Ocean County Home for the Holidays Weekend of the season kicks off this Friday at 6am!
