Dillinger was found as a stray in a rural area and he was so happy to be brought to safety. He's only about 3 years old and was taught some manners in his young life. He sits and lays down when asked, and takes treats very gently, he even brings you his dinner bowl when he's finished. He can use a bit of leash-training and is strong on a walk. He tries to restrain his excitement but he's just too darn happy. Dillinger loves checking things out, running and playing, and meeting new friends. He whines for attention like a little puppy and just loves people, but he'll need a home with older kids because he could inadvertently knock a small child over while playing. Dillinger seems to like larger dogs but needs a home with no small dogs or cats. He'll keep you laughing and bring you lots of happiness if you give him a chance.
