Surflight Theatre under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Steve Steiner and under the new ownership of Al Parinello (Producer The People in the Picture, The Fantasticks) will be reopening officially after a 2 year closure and bankruptcy liquidation on June 23^rd with the musical sensation Footloose based on the 1980’s blockbuster movie of the same name.

It's the return of an iconic Jersey Shore theatre .... the curtain will once again go up at the Surflight Theatre on Long Beach Island. The longtime theatre closed it's doors several years ago, but efforts to re-open have succeeded and the Surflight is back!

The first production of the new Surflight will be "Footloose" and opening night is Friday, June 23rd! and residents are excited to have great shows all summer in Beach Haven.
