This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Vest-A-Cop benefit. Toms River’s Finest will be waiters and waitresses for the night to raise money for the Bullet Proof Vest Fund. We invite you to come join us and let us serve you dinner.

As we look back at the scary saga that has taken place in New Jersey over the last few days, starting with last Saturday's Seaside Park bombing, it's clear that the first priority of our law enforcement officers is to protect us, many of them putting their lives on the line.

Now you have an even better excuse to eat pizza today. The 25th annual "Vest-A-Cop" fundraiser for the Toms River Police Department is being held 4 to 9 p.m. at Pizza Hut on Route 37 East to help cover the cost of bulletproof vests.
