Popeyes

Thanks to my co-worker Justin Louis, this week we found out Lacey Township will be getting a trio of additional popular food and drink chains in the planning stages.

The Lacey Planning Board just approved Popeyes to be in the location of the old Burger King building, at the TJ Maxx Shopping Plaza, on Rt. 9 in Lacey Township.

On Tuesday I was stymied in my attempt to finally taste the now-famous Popeyes Chicken Sandwich because the Toms River location was out of buns.

I decided that I would put on my “investigative hat” to see why there was so much hype over a chicken sandwich.
