Why Can’t We Get Another Chick-fil-A In Ocean County

Thanks to my co-worker Justin Louis, this week we found out Lacey Township will be getting a trio of additional popular food and drink chains in the planning stages.

It was announced  that Chipotle, Starbucks, and more is coming to Lacey Township. They're still in the planning stages. We already know Popeyes will be where the old Burger King was on Rt. 9 in Lacey, by the ShopRite Plaza. That Grand Opening should be, fingers crossed, by the end of the year. The building of Popeyes and renovating the Burger King was pushed back because of Covid-19.

My point to this blog, why are we not getting another Chick-fil-A in Ocean County. There's one in Brick. One would be awesome in Lacey, Bayville, Beachwood, Toms River, possibly Manahawkin. I'm tired of waiting in line at the one in Brick. Everyone in NEW JERSEY is at the Chick-fil-A in Brick when I'm waiting in line. I've waited over an hour already. I know you've waited in line and thought the same thing, "Why isn't there another one."

Do you know is there a franchise thing where you can't open another Chick-fil-a within a certain mile. There's a McDonald's on every block, but no Chick-fil-a?

Wouldn't it be great to add a Chick-fil-a in Lacey? I thought maybe, just maybe the old Burger King would be Chick-fil-a. Maybe one of those in the planning stages for Lacey Township - Chick-fil-a would be a great addition.

I would prefer if it was in Bavyille, closer to me...but I'll take any town in Ocean County. Southern Ocean County, there is not one in Manahawkin, either. Just crazy.
