When was the last times you visited "Old Barney?" The Barnegat Lighthouse has been a visitor destination for a long time. The Lighthouse began with construction in 1835 and guided ships for years through the Barnegat Inlet.

Historical Landmark Designated in Lakewood....Using a tree friendly formula, students at the Clarke School estimated the tree to be 201 years old, older than the township which was established in 1892.
