I wanted to write you a note and let you know that we are not canceling Christmas! I do want you to stop and pay us a visit. Why am I writing this, because some are talking about needing to possibly cancel Christmas due to the surge in Covid 19 cases. Even Dr Fauci says this Christmas will have to look a lot different.
When Covid-19 began, remember we were all into rainbows with hashtags and, "I believe" and "We Got This." The colored Christmas trees might be perfect for this year.
This year we could all use a visit with Santa, but that is not going to be easy in person. One new idea that is getting some attention is doing a virtual meet and great with the big guy. It’s a new take on the traditional “letter to Santa”.
may be a huge year for online shopping due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Stores have reduced hours, costumer limits, closings etc. So for many they are shopping online and doing it safely from home. That being said I don’t have a problem going to a store I wear my mask use hand sanitizer and practice social distancing. I do not try to go to a million stores but when I need to I plan a few stops and then I’m done
No matter how we have to celebrate the holidays this season, one thing will be like other years, your chance to show your holiday spirit and cheer. Here's to Lighting Up our community in 2020.
Although the schools will not be facing off exclusively this year, we are going to have a Christmas singing competition. The "Tinsel Trophy" will go to whoever wins the popular vote for their best Christmas Carol. So our competition is open to EVERYONE!
