There are some new and exciting events, games, and more coming up this spring and into the summer months.

There is a big comedy night fundraiser event coming up this month for the RWJ-Barnabas Health Toms River Field of Dreams, and, Christian Kane joined us on 'Shore Time with Vin and Dave' on 94.3 The Point and 105.7 The Hawk on Sunday morning to discuss it.

The vision that was once a dream has become a reality as the RWJ-Barnabas Health Toms River Field of Dreams will have its grand opening on Saturday.

It's the 7th inning stretch of development for the Toms River Field of Dreams project thanks to the $400,000 set aside in the state budget to help this game reach the 9th inning and completion all-together.

The days are getting closer and closer to the Toms River Field of Dreams turning from dream into reality.

You can be the Toms River version of the voice the character Ray Kinsella in the movie 'Field of Dream's hears in the cornfield convincing him to build a baseball field.

"If you build it, they will come," -- The iconic movie line from Field of Dreams comes to life in Toms River with a family who was hit with tragedy about four and a half years ago when nineteen month old Gavin Kane suffered injuries preventing him from being able to walk or talk. Plans for a real life Field of Dreams are underway, so Gavin can play ball.
