Supporting the Arts at the Toms River Regional Schools [VIDEO]

It was a honor for me to attend the recording of "Seasons of Love" at Toms River High School South. It was a day to highlight the importance of the arts at the Toms River Regional Schools. The arts and other school programs are at risk of being cut due to budget cuts to the district.

The program was put together by Kristine Perry of the Toms River Regional Schools, as a way to highlight the importance of the arts. Students, faculty, alumni and concerned citizens gathered at Toms River High School South to record a musical tribute to the arts.

It was fantastic to see all these generations coming together for a great cause. Very proud to have represented 92.7 WOBM - Townsquare Media at this true "community" event.

The Schools will be releasing a video of their completed project in the days to come. Support our Schools and the kids who benefit from projects like this. Well done Toms River ... take a bow
