2020 has been such a weird year. Things look and feel so different. One thing remains the same though, as communities come together and think of some awesome ideas like this one that are keeping the Halloween spirit alive.

Cedar Grove Elementary School in Toms River is hosting a "Spooktacular Halloween Drive Thru" on Friday, October 23rd, 2020. You'll stay in your own car, just like a hayride, but never get out of your car. This will be a scary event, so if you'd like it a little less scary, come a little earlier in the night. The "Spooktacular Halloween Drive Thru" is from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Cedar Grove Elementary School at 179 Cedar Grove Road in Toms River.

If you'd like to be a participant in the Spooky Halloween Drive Thru, there is still room. If you have a dance troop, girl scout, or boy scout troop and want to be a part of it, click here.

And this is what I love: even if you're not a fan of driving through something spooky, you can still get the family to carve a pumpkin together or make a scarecrow together and it can be a part of the drive thru. Kids can feel they're a part of this fun community event.

"The Spooktacular Halloween Drive Thru" is $5 per car and they ask please have exact change.
