It's something that has come up in the wake of the Parkland Florida school shooting: should teachers carry guns for self-defense? It's something that some feel would help deter future incidents, while others feel it's just a very bad idea.

I was listening to an ABC news report and a law enforcement official said it poses two immediate problems. One is how would law enforcement officials identify someone with a weapon as a "teacher" and not a threat. Secondly how would teachers store their weapons safely?
