Fire crews were dispatched after a nearby fire watch tower and multiple residents called in the blaze at around 2:18 PM. Four surrounding residences were evacuated as a precaution. Two other homes suffered some melting of their siding as a result of the heat from the fire. Those residents were allowed back into their homes by around 3:30 PM. The damage to those homes was minor.
