OMG! I Can’t Believe My Son is Married! Where Did Time Go!
So life at times seems to bring things full circle for you and I recently had just that happen to me when I attended my son’s wedding, yes you heard me right my son Zach’s wedding. If you have listened to the morning show for any length of time you know that Zach basically grew up during my time (26 years now) here at 92.7 WOBM.

As I mentioned during one of the toasts at the wedding, since Zach came into our lives almost 30 years ago he has made us nothing but proud, and for me to see the man he has become, a good and decent human being, I could not ask for anything more as a parent. Simply raising a “good person” is our greatest achievement as parents.
Zach and his bride Carley did a fantastic job planning and coordinating their special day that took us to the mountains of California. In fact, it was at a scenic little historic old west town of Julian, California. Very scenic and something right out of a John Wayne movie, very different from where they had grown up here in the Garden State.
The service was held atop Sacred Mountain and it was complete with horses, sheep, and even a moose in attendance. It made you want to get a cowboy hat and boots and ride off into the sunset, with truly breathtaking views for an intimate wedding ceremony.
So now Zach and Carley move into their next chapter and our work as parents for them is over, or is it ever really? We will always be there to help out but now it’s their time to continue the circle and I kinda came around my loop, although I still have our wonderful daughter to go, so that’s very exciting.
This is all part of a parent's journey and I’ve been blessed. My praise also goes out to my son’s wifes’ family, they raised a good human too. Wow did I just say my son’s wife? lol
