It's fair to say that people aren't the only ones who like to visit the Jersey Shore seasonally.

Humans flock to our beaches in the summer, of course, but winter brings visitors of the animal kind.

A few weeks ago we told you about the snowy owls that have been spotted at Island Beach State Park.

The same popular Ocean County beach has also been visited recently by harbor seals.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center not only took to their official Facebook page to acknowledge the harbor seals' return to our beaches, but also to warn the public to let them be:

Our sister station New Jersey 101.5 reports that so far harbor seals have been reported at IBSP and Brielle, and that they also like to hang out around Sandy Hook.

You can click here for more from the Marine Mammal Stranding Center about what you should do if you spot harbor seals on our beaches.
