Ocean & Monmouth County Teachers of the Year 2017-2018

We are very proud to have Christine represent our district and Ocean County as the county Teacher of the Year ~ Manchester Superintendent David Trethaway

 

The New Jersey Department of Education has released its 2017-2018 "Teacher of the Year" and here in Ocean County, the winner comes from Manchester High School!

Christine Newbury was named Ocean County "Teacher of the Year". Ms. Newbury is a Science and Special Education Teacher at Manchester High School.

In Monmouth County, Kristina Phelan was named "Teacher of the Year" in Monmouth County. Ms. Phelan is a reading teacher at Mahala F. Atchison Elementary School in the Tinton Falls School District.

In addition in Burlington County, Sherrie Wilkins, a fifth-grade teacher at Alexander Denbo Elementary School in the Pemberton Township School District, was named "Teacher of the Year" in Burlington County.

Congratulations to all the teachers and thank you for all the work YOU do with OUR kids... we are grateful for your hard work and dedication.
