Ocean County Speaks: Putting Up the Christmas Tree

This simple question always seems to stir up some controversy - when do you put up your Christmas Tree?

Some families feel the Christmas spirit early and like to put it up at the beginning of November. Others will argue that that's too soon and takes away the attention from Thanksgiving. I asked Ocean County for their thoughts on the WOBM Facebook page.

It looks like most people will be putting up their tree sometime this weekend (most people said this Friday). Others are going to wait until next weekend or the week after. Some of you already had your trees up (I love it!) One listener said that as a child, her family cut a tree down on Christmas Eve and put lights on it. When she woke up, Santa had decorated the tree in addition to bringing gifts! How cute is that?
