I admit it, there are some things I'm a snob about. But I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to refuse to compromise on things that you enjoy.

There are certain things that I'm willing to pay a bit more for to really enjoy the experience. And hey when it comes to food you might as well enjoy the calories you're getting anyway, right? If I'm going to eat some chocolate I'm going to make sure it's really good chocolate. Beer? If it has "Lite" or "Ice" in the name, I won't go near it.

When it comes to things that you really enjoy, why should you compromise on quality or enjoyment?

Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against saving a buck. If you spread store brand cream cheese on your bagel, I guarantee you won't be able to tell the difference between that and the big national brand that sells for twice the price.

But with those things where you can tell the difference, I say splurge. A lot of the time not only are you getting more enjoyment out of the experience but you also may be helping a smaller company stay in business.

So what are the things you refuse to compromise on? What are your snobby indulgences? Leave a comment and let us know!
