More Fantastic Restaurants and Bars Are Coming to Lacey Township

I was sad to see Charlie Brown's close in Lacey.

It was always a place I would meet up with friends because they had a salad bar. We had such good times there.

At the start of the pandemic, when everything was closing down, so did Charlie Brown's. I'm happy to see there is a sign in the empty restaurant with something new coming.

I'm hearing great things on local Facebook pages that more restaurants and bars are coming to Forked River. There's a sign in the old Charlie Brown's that a new restaurant and bar is replacing that empty restaurant.

The sign reads Pine Tar Bar & Grill. It doesn't give any more information at it. If anyone knows anything I'd love to get more details. I've tried looking it up and I find nothing on it. So, that's exciting.

Also, I was reading about 3 Flags Grill Restaurant. That's opening soon at 121 S. Main Street in Forked River. This one looks delicious, there are lots to choose from. From their website: Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian food. Chipotle is opening soon in the Home Depot shopping plaza. I know a lot of you are excited about that. I love to see new restaurants come to Ocean County. That's great news.
