There are so many women who help make Ocean County a better place, and we're recognizing them as our Woman of the Week (WOW)!

This week, Sue and I loved getting to know Lisa Schlesinger, who was nominated by her husband Ed to be this week's Woman of the Week (WOW)! Lisa is an administrative nurse at Community Medical Center, who has been working incredibly hard throughout this pandemic. Read Ed's nomination below:

My wife is an administrative nurse at community medical center and is a true hero!
She is a great mom nurse wife, friend, sister, daughter and truly kind, generous and just a great person. She has been working tirelessly 12 to 14 hours sometimes 6-7 days a week without a complaint during the pandenic. I would love to have her recognized and I am truly lucky to be her husband.

When we called Ed, he had so many glowing things to say about her, and you could hear the love he has for her in his voice (maybe have a box of tissues handy). Check out Sue's and my conversation with Ed below:

Then, we got to call Lisa and tell her the good news! I may or may not have asked her to find me a man as good as Ed, haha. Listen to how that went below:

Lisa - you are a true example of a local hero here in Ocean County. Thank you for all the hard work you do, and for the difference you make in people's lives. You are a shining example of what it means to be 92.7 WOBM's Woman of the Week (WOW)!
