It's been a dramatic ride for Caneda's White Rooster since last October, but its story has come to an end with this week's announcement that the Fischer Boulevard restaurant has closed.

By now, you certainly know the saga that began when word started to spread through Ocean County last October that a restaurant makeover show would be coming to Toms River.

It only took a day to figure out that it was celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his team from the Fox TV show 24 Hours to Hell and Back filming at Caneda's White Rooster.

There were ups and downs throughout the process, and we saw the warts and all makeover when the Toms River episode aired in January.

Now, just a single day past the 5-month mark, owner Patty Caneda announced on the restaurant's Facebook page that the doors have closed for good on White Rooster:

If you missed the Caneda's White Rooster episode of Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back, as of this writing you can click here to watch it on the Fox website.
