Lacey man who provided fatal dose of heroin to O-D victim is indicted
A Lacey man who sold a lethal dose of heroin combined with fentanyl to a man who later overdosed at a WaWa in Forked River has been indicted, according to the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
32-year old Nicholas Picone faces a string of charges for the drug induced death of 29-year old Anthony Terrill Jr.
On April 8 around 2:10 am, Lacey Township Police responded to the Wawa located at 444 Route 9 South in the Forked River section following a call from employees of the store reporting an unconscious male in the bathroom.

Lacey Officers observing signs of a drug overdose immediately, per the Prosecutor's directive, contacted the Ocean County Prosecutor's Major Crimes Unit and the Ocean County Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Unit to respond.
The ensuing investigation would lead back to Picone and link him to the death.
