It's great for the cold winter months here in New Jersey.

Recently, Target launched its "Starbucks Drive Up" service and it's super convenient. You can now add your Starbucks Cafe order right to your Target curbside pickup order.

This is sure to make Target and Starbucks customers very happy.

According to Target, here's how it works.

  1. You place your Target Drive Up order through the app and you'll get a notification when it’s ready. Just let them know you're on your way.
  1. Then, you'll receive a prompt asking if you would like to place an order from the Starbucks menu. Select your order and tap "add for drive up" and pay. Tap "I'm on my way" and a barista will prepare your order.
  1. When you get there you can park in the designated Drive Up parking area and tap “I’m here” in the Target app. A Target team member will then bring out your Starbucks order, along with your Drive Up purchase, right to your car.

The next time you place your Target order, check it out!

Best coffee shops & cafes near NJ beaches

When it comes to food, New Jersey is known for many things such as pizza and pork roll. Don't count us out when it comes to coffee.

With all the hustle and bustle involved in the average New Jersey resident's day, coffee is essential. It doesn't matter whether you're living in the cities of North Jersey or the vacation spots at the shore.

In fact, as the former owner of two Jersey shore coffee houses, Coffee Dot Comedy in Sea Isle City and the Daily Grind in Ocean Grove, I know firsthand how much people at the Jersey shore love their coffee.

With respect to that, I asked my social media following where the best coffee houses at the Jersey Shore were, especially since my two places no longer exist.

Below is what they came up with. (And see this other article for their coffee shop and cafe recommendations for Central Jersey.)
