Investigation is Launched into the Suspicious Death of a Manchester Man

An elderly Manchester man is found murdered in his trailer Monday night. The Ocean County Prosecutors Office says 76-year-old Anthony Verdicchio's friends discovered his body at around 5:19 p.m. in his Pine Acres Estate residence after he didn't show up for a daily morning coffee get-together. Officials pronounced him dead shortly after his discovery.

According to the Star Ledger, Officials are treating Verdicchio's death as a homicide because of the condition of his body. Anyone with information is asked to contact Manchester Police at (732) 657-2009.
